Mike began his Martial Arts Career August 1978, with Kim’s Academy of "Tae Kwon Do" in Bourbon Indiana under the instruction of Rick Bessinger, Dave Teter, and Dennis Kinsey. Mike continued his education with Dave Teter, Jim Powell, and Soke C. Ridener. Competed Open Circuit Competition in State and Semi Pro Tournaments from 1980 to 1984. Wining numerous trophies and School Championships. Began teaching for and with Mr. Teter and Mr. Powell in 1980. Co-founded the American Martial Arts Club (AMAC) of Plymouth Indiana in 1982. Member of the Michiana Budo Kai (MBK), Shiho Karano Kenpo International (SKKI), American Midwest Tae Kwon Do Association (AMTA), and the Christian Black Belt Association (CBBA). Mikes specialized instruction is in Hard Fist and Soft Fist Style Combat Arts. Studied Shoto Kan Karate under Soke Don Recupito and partnered with him in Martial Methods for 35 years. Continued training under Soke Bill Homan and Soke George Dillman in Kyushu Ru and FEDS. In 45 years of Martial Arts, Master Beam has accumulated over 18,750 fights total.

John started his Martial Arts Career in 1978, with Laporte's Academy of Tae Kwon Do in Laporte, Indiana, under the instruction of Master Neil S. John is part of the American Tae Kwon Do Association and the American Tae Kwon Do Fellowship. In 2021 began teaching at Fitness Forum.
8th Degree Black Belt (Pal Dan)
Loren started Tae Kwon Do in 1974 under Mr. Kim Dong Sik. Due to Mr. Sik returning to Korea in 1976, Loren continued his training at Notre Dame Tae Kwon Do Club under Capt. Charles Bolin; who was a 2nd degree Black belt. Loren achieved his Black Belt rank in 19847 and started training with Mr. Dave Letor an
